Campusify ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Campusify mobile application (the "App"), a campus engagement platform that connects students with clubs, events, job opportunities, community posts, and academic support services.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide directly

2.3 Permissions requested
- Internet access – required to communicate with our servers.
- File / storage access – only when you choose to upload a resume or profile image.
- Camera / photos – only when you actively choose to pick or capture an image.
We do not request location, microphone, or contacts permissions.
3How We Use Your Information
- 01Provide the service – authenticate you, display your profile, clubs, events, jobs, and academic records.
- 02Complaints management – route your complaint to the appropriate campus authority and follow up.
- 03Resume storage – allow you to store and share your resume with relevant job opportunities within the platform.
- 04App stability – use crash reports to identify and fix bugs.
- 05Product analytics – understand which features are used so we can improve the App. Analytics data is aggregated and not used to identify you individually.
- 06Communications – send you in-app notifications relevant to your campus activity (event reminders, complaint status updates).
We do not use your data to serve third-party advertisements.
4Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these circumstances:

5Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on servers hosted at backend.campusify.io. All communication between the App and our servers uses HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). Authentication tokens are stored using the platform's secure shared preferences mechanism and are not accessible to other apps.
We implement industry-standard security practices including authentication, authorisation checks, and encrypted storage. No system is 100% secure; if you suspect unauthorised access to your account, please contact us immediately.
6Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account:
- Account credentials and profile data are deleted within 30 days.
- Complaints submitted to your institution may be retained by the institution independently of your account deletion.
- Anonymised analytics data (not linked to your identity) may be retained indefinitely for aggregate analysis.
- Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before permanent deletion.
7Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

- Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) – usage analytics.
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) – crash reporting.
- Firebase Core (Google LLC) – underlying platform services.
